Styrene
Styrene is a building-block chemical used in the manufacture of many products that have improved the quality of everyday life. Worldwide, about 60% of all styrene becomes polystyrene — a plastic which comes in several forms, including solid, foam, and film.
Methyl Acrylate
Methyl acrylate is an organic compound, more accurately the methyl ester of acrylic acid. It is a colourless colourless liquid with a characteristic acrid odor. It is mainly produced to make acrylate fiber, which is used to weave synthetic carpets. It is also a reagent in the synthesis of various pharmaceutical intermediates.
Butyl Acrylate
Butyl acrylate appears as a clear colorless liquid with a sharp characteristic odor. Very slightly soluble in water and somewhat less dense than water. Butyl acrylate (BA) is the ester of acrylic acid and n-butanol. It is used as a raw material for fiber processing agents, adhesives, coatings, plastics, acrylic rubber, and emulsions.
2-Ethylhexyl Acrylate
2-Ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA) is an important bulk chemical used as precursor in the production of acrylic polymers. Industrially, 2-EHA is produced batchwise by esterification of acrylic acid (AA) and 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH), with formation of water as byproduct (Ohara et al., 2003).
Methyl Methacrylate
Methyl methacrylate (MMA) modified alkyds produce resins that, in addition to fast drying, are particularly useful in metal decorating finishes, where fast curing speed, good flow, gloss, durability and fabricating properties are required.
Vinyl Acetate Monomer
Vinyl acetate is an important industrial monomer that is used to make homopolymers and copolymers with a wide variety of applications. It is a volatile, flammable liquid that, like many esters, has a pleasant, fruity aroma.Vinyl Acetate monomer is also used in the manufacture of paints, coatings, adhesives and binders, films, wire and cable, inks and concrete additives.
